Regina Brody is running for First Lady. After a hard and bitter campaign,
Don Greer has been elected sheriff of Hamilton County. Law and order will
certainly be re-established under the leadership of Jerry Buher, the Fire
and Police Commissioner. Marcia Schulman has been re-elected as Juvenile
Court Judge. Sherril Kyker is the new Superintendent of City Schools while
his cohort, Terry Menuskin, will head the county schools. Mary Moates is
secretary to Dr. Kyker, while Rick Scholze assists Dr. Menuskin. Benny Joe
Carson is in collaboration with his father, the chief of the Missionary
Ridge Fire Department, as an arsonist. Janice Brown is a gym teacher at
Brainerd High. Harold Nave is the head coach at Brainerd and is a popular
chaperone for the Junior-Senior Proms. Pat Harris, Sharon Hannah, James Hill,
Pat Johnson. Sue Cox, and Ann and Jim Barberee are members of Brainerd's
P.T.A.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Oakley (Mrs. Oakley is the former Sarah Cash) own a
filling station. Alice Pickelsimer, Jo Anne Bowen, Leslie Pyle, Sylvia Smith,
Judy Stott, and Liz Close have joined the WACS. Linda Jones and Chris Groover
are in Russia performing the Swan Ballet. Gail Bass and Janet Williams are
still leading on underclassmen. Ronnie Bales is working is way up to the
Vice-Presidency of Dooley Chemical Co. Truman Brooks is photographing summer
scenes in December for the leading children's magazine, Jack and Jill.
